The Government's White Paper on reforming public services has just been published. You can download a copy here - attached below. There is also a new government website about the proposed reforms called Opening Public Services

Parish Councils and Participatory Budgeting
25th May 10am to 3pm at St Georges Centre, Leeds
This seminar will launch a new toolkit and DVD for Parish councils wanting to run PB events. The morning will focus on PB and Parish councils while the afternoon will be a regional networking activity looking at wider issues about PB for anyone interested.
All participants will be given a free toolkit and DVD

YCAN Network Conference

Re-imagining Community Involvement case studies
This new set of case studies showcases the key facilitation role that voluntary and community organisations play to support people getting involved in decisions that affect their lives. The case studies were commissioned by the Yorkshire and Humber Empowerment Partnership and produced by the Yorkshire & Humber Forum.
