Empowering rural communities - March 11th 2008 |
The aim of the event was to ensure that a rural perspective is included in the work of the National Empowerment Consortium in Yorkshire and the Humber. The workshop was organised by the regional community development network and attended by 26 people. Session topics included Parish Planning, Assets Transfer, Transition towns, Techniques for Involvement. Over lunch people shared stories about community empowerment. |
