A practice sharing event  for community development practitioners to get together and explore and celebrate the role and impact of their activities, both on the communities they support and   on local authorities and public bodies meeting their national indicators. In a time of cuts and prioritises we need to demonstrate that community development is not an expensive luxury but an essential service which enables public bodies to be more effective and make better use of scarce resources in delivering their services.
