Communities Conference - A great success!

Over 70 people from community groups across the region attended this exciting Conference hosted by the Regional Community Panel

The conference was specifically for community groups and active residents and focused on a theme of exploring how people can exercise real power and influence over decisions about their communities.

Speakers from Marsh Farm in Luton, where a grass roots group of local residents are leading regeneration on their estate shared their experiences and there were workshops looking at different ways in which communities can take a lead towards empowerment.
